our journey…
Our love for dance and theatre was passed down through generations of passion and performance. Our grandma was an exceptional dancer and our grandad, a natural performer. They were both talented singers who lit up the stage in countless musicals and shows throughout their life, building lasting connections within the industry and earning a respected place in the oldham operatic society. Growing up around their music and energy made the arts feel like home.
Our mum continued that legacy through dancing herself under the guidance of the amazing Sheila Carter who has worked with Andrew Lloyd webber, had her name in lights on broadway and is currently working on the west end. Our mum passed down that generational knowledge to us both, not just through training but through the shared love of everything that comes with it.
We will continue to honour their legacy by carrying a shared dream forward while inspiring others to find their own.
nell greenhalgh
Teacher of Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre.Nell started her training at a local dance school where she was successful in achieving IDTA grade levels across ballet and modern dance. She attended many competitions across the region where she was awarded numerous medals, trophies and scholarship awards. She has performed professionally in many shows and productions across the uk.
Nell further refined her craft at renaissance arts before earning a place at CAPA College, one of the UK’s leading performing arts institutions.
Continuing her development across all aspects of dance and theatre production, she enrolled on the performing arts course at Oldham College where she was able to expand her knowledge in choreography, acting, and creative direction.
In addition, Nell is an alumni of one of the UKs leading contemporary dance companies, Company chameleon, where she graduated from the youth seniors program.
As part of her recent work, she choreographed and directed a bold reimagining of the Musical cats which was performed in Manchester, has worked with Dare To Know Theatre on a new production ‘The Rum Runners’, written, directed, and choreographed by herself which debuted in august 2025, and worked as a choreographer for Oldham Theatre Workshop on their production of ‘What They Left Behind’.
As co-director of Fierce Dance School, she brings her professional training and real-world experience into every class. She is committed to empowering young dancers with the technique, discipline, and confidence they need to succeed wether that be on stage or beyond:)
rosie greenhalgh
Teacher of Acro, Modern, Commercial, TapRosie started training at her local dance school where she gained advanced IDTA qualifications in Ballet, Modern/Jazz, and Tap and earning an IDTA scholarship.
She began her formal training and Huddersfield New College where she studied dance before advancing her training at the prestigious Shockout Arts in Manchester.
Rosie specialises in commercial dance, bringing high energy, and precision to every piece she creates.
In addition to co-directing Fierce Dance School, Rosie has experience in freelance teaching and choreography. Her classes support each dancers individuality and expression, delivered in an empowering and supportive environment. Rosie is passionate about inspiring the next generation of dancers, helping them build confidence, creativity, and stage presence both inside and outside the studio.
